Hello everybody, We will talk about privacy on your iPhone so as know that apples are really serious and respectful about their privacy to their users therefore in this post we will talk about some of the tricks that you can apply to improve your privacy on your iPhone. Let’s get started.
App tracking mode
Now the very first feature that we’re going to talk about is called app tracking mode so let’s see if you’re using the third-party application and if you just use that feature then your data and privacy will not be get stolen, now to turn these features on the very first thing you want to do is simply go to your settings and now scroll down to your privacy and then you will get this option called tracking after that you will see a list of installed third-party apps, now toggle them off one by one and finally toggle of the option Allow Apps To Request You Track. And your privacy gets improved and there will be less chance to you know get stolen your privacy to other people.
Setting Up A Strong Password
Sounds like a normal thing? but it’s the strongest shield against the hacker. Using the most robust password on your iPhone, now the question is how would you do that? just use the most robust password on your iPhone the first thing you want to do is Tap your settings and scroll down to your face ID & passcode and it will ask you for the password that you use to unlock your device now scroll down and change the passcode and once again it will ask you for your old passcode now just enter your old passcode and then it will come across password options now after entering your password you will see the three categories. it is highly recommendable for you to choose a custom alphabetic code and then now you can choose the large or the longest password possible.
Turn off Allow Access when locked
In the same settings face ID & passcode scroll down now you will see an option is says allow access when locked. now just turn all of this off to get as strong as security. You will also see a couple of different options like notification center control center toggle them all off now no access will be given on your iPhone when it’s locked well and afterward, as soon as you unlock your device then you’ll be able to access all.
Erase DATA
Next, scroll down to the bottom in the same setting face ID & passcode you will see an option called erase data enable this option. If somebody gives you the wrong attempts 10 times all of this data will be erased let’s assume if somebody got your iPhone and tried more than 11 times then all this information will be erased from your iPhone so that nobody can be able to get your information on their end so in that way you’ll be able to improve your privacy on your iPhone.
Setup A SIM Card Pin
Apart from setup a password or passcode, there’s another PIN that you need to set on your phone and it has to do with the Sim card in your phone. It is theoretically possible for someone to remove your SIM card and put it on another device. So go into Cellular and there look for Sim PIN. Go in there and turn that on and set it to something random but of course, make sure you write it down somewhere so you have it.
Turn on Personalized Ads
Taking care of advertisers is the next thing you need to do now if you don’t want advertisers to get your data just go ahead and open up your settings scroll down to your privacy once again scroll down to your apple advertising and now go ahead and toggle on your personalized ad now as soon as you turned on that personalized ads after that no advertisers won’t be able to get your information to them, after that if you improve your privacy even more.
Use Two Factor (2FA)
Make sure you have Two-Factor authentication turned on. Most Apple users do know as there are many things you can’t do unless you’re using Two-Factor. So, in your iCloud Settings go to Password & Security, and in there make sure you have Two-Factor authentication turned on. You can also simply turn off Share iPhone analytics to improve your privacy.
Check if your password leak
You can also check if your password leaked, go to Settings > Password > Security recommendation and you will see an option detect compromised password this option can alert you if your password leak somewhere.
